Motohangar’s recent work on a Yamaha SR500, newly christened MH500B, favors the vision of the artist over the thrill of speed or horsepower. The bike, the original model being a popular Japanese make from 1979, proudly displays the twists and turns of the metalwork, as well as the refined handiwork on the leather seat. Sepia tones soften the appearance of the bike and play into a vintage look also apparent in the bike’s headlight and taillight design. The build also involved a number of performance upgrades, including steel-braided brake lines and new shocks.
