2013 Zero Electric Motorcycles

Although there are still a few months left in the year 2012, Zero Motorcycles has unveiled its 2013 lineup. Speed, size, and performance meet an upgrade with all five new bikes of the coming collection. Zero S – Streetfighter – is a serious bike, topping off the higher end with its 95 mph top speed without compromising on electric power pack life and efficiency. Zero DS – Dual Sport – is a sturdy pick for any type of road, while Zero FX – Stealthfighter – represents a lighter alternative at 275 pounds, yet still delivers an impressive résumé of speed and torque. Zero XU – Urban Crosser – lives up to its name with a removable power pack and a no-fuss attitude toward its look and build. Last, but definitely not least, of the group is Zero MX – Motocross – which boasts a short charge time and the capability to handle the toughest of terrains with its excellent wheels. All of the bikes share a similar look, with a black body and a stand-out copper fork and color options for accents along the gas tank and seat. However, the bike specs trump the style and hint at even faster, stronger bikes in the future. Now that’s something worth waiting for.
