The beloved F800GS motorcycle has been recently redesigned with a more dynamic look by BMW Motorrad, opening a new chapter in the bike’s successful story which began with its launch in 2008. The versatile bike can handle both on and off-road riding and is suitable for daily commuting, weekend getaways, or even epic trips of thousands of miles, which explains its popularity among motorcycle aficionados. The 2016 model takes the design further with a water-cooled two-cylinder engine with 85 bhp and 83 Nm of torque, lower fuel consumption, five possible seat heights and an option to lower the suspension to allow anyone to ride in complete comfort, a new radiator cowl boasting a galvanized finish, and extra safety features that include ABS as standard and ESA and ASC as an option. The updated bike also features new tank covers, electroplated knee covers, ignition lock covers, a dual-color seat cover, and a GS model inscription with a new stencil format. Dynamic, sleek and modern, the 2016 version of the F800GS is available at a starting price of $12,295 on the company’s website, where you’ll also find the full technical specs and other optional accessories.
