Italian cult brand Seletti has a soft spot for revolutionizing modern living spaces with expertly crafted products. As a result, the company collaborates with talented and creative studios and designers to craft furniture and accessories collections that look visually striking and simply unforgettable. The latest collaboration, with Belgium-based Studio Job, follows the same recipe. The Banana Lamps provide a practical and also lightweight take on the studio’s bronze and glass sculptures, introduced at ‘The Banana Show’ in 2015. They also offer a creative lighting design solution for modern homes while providing a great alternative to those who can’t buy the original artworks.
Made of resin and glass, Huey, Dewey, and Louie, as they are affectionately called, offer a simple solution to create a focal point in any décor. The lamps reference both pop art and popular culture with their symbolism – “the most popular fruit in the world” – and their cartoon-inspired names.
