AKA recently collaborated with LA-based designer Trina Turk and Airstream 2 Go to create the AKA Mobile Suite, a GMC Yukon Denali camper outfitted with glam amenities. The Mobile Suite is the latest addition to AKA’s Live It! series and, in the spirit of Turk-approved adventure, is available to rent for a five-day vacation. The California road trip package takes the camper on a whirlwind tour of surfing, ocean kayaking, whale watching, wine tasting, botanical hiking, nature tour biking, stargazing, concert-going inside a Canyon, and indulging in celebrity-ready yoga and spa experiences. In between activities, one is free to admire the camper’s sleek wood-lined interior and enjoy its luxury furnishings and features, which include a leather sofa; a full kitchen with a Nespresso coffee machine; a bathroom and shower with towels, bathrobes, and Bulgari toiletries; an iPod speaker system; AKA Beverly Hills’ curated DVD selection; and a branded bicycle with bright orange detailing. Rates start around $6,000 to reserve the Mobile Suite for the complete West Coast glamping experience.
