Launched in 2015, German Alexander Laude brand has enjoyed continued success, reaching markets in the U.S. and Asia. Now, the company’s founder has made New York City his home. Aka the place where the sneaker became more than just sports footwear and transformed into a pop culture item and style statement, back in the ‘70s. The Alexander Laude premium collection includes designs with a minimalist aesthetic. Subtle golden accents elevate the sneakers from strictly casual to casual/stylish status. Available for both men and women, the range comes in elegant and versatile colors which include the usual black, white and brown as well as more eye-catching shades like bright red, orange or blue.
Made in Portugal, all sneakers boast high-quality Italian leather or suede, a signature golden button, and discreet golden lettering. You can find both low and high top models on the official website. But keep in mind that some designs are produced in limited numbers while others, like the popular ‘White Sugar Low’ and ‘Black Magic Low’ models, are sometimes out of stock and come with a waiting time of around eight weeks.
