Animal Farm by Nishi Chauhan

No need to worry about Orwellian politics with this Animal Farm, for this particular menagerie remains innocent and delightful to the very end. Indian designer Nishi Chauhan began the glass zoo after recognizing the effigies of animals in the forms of wine bottles, preserve jars, and other glassware. Working with local craftsmen, Chauhan fostered these lit figurines, with giraffes, hippos, and even elephants among the lot of them. Hooves, ears, and small details that are formed from lacquered wood breathe life into these once-stationary animals, which now carry both a literal and figurative spark of light.
