“Dreams” is a series of animal sculptures by the Chinese artist Wang Ruilin. Loosely inspired by Eastern paintings such as the work of Xu Beihong, the pieces depict some of the world’s most majestic creatures in moody shades of blue, green, and gray. The painted copper sculptures represent animals with an emotional pull and show that they are a part of nature by incorporating elemental references into their expressive forms.
