An elegant and ingenious design.
In recent years, wireless headphones and earphones have become increasingly more popular, with many well-known brands releasing their own take on these in-demand products. High-end audio brand Bang & Olufsen Beoplay joins the movement. Unsurprisingly, it takes the concept to a whole new level of style and ingenuity. The new Beoplay E8 wireless earphones stand out from the crowd thanks to their elegant design. They boast a black tone and an anodized metal ring which encircles the brand’s laser etched logo. A textured rubber and polymer material also give the surface a tactile quality. Other materials include stainless steel as well as premium leather and a braided textile cord for the charging case.
In terms of practical features, the earphones impress. They come with a built-in microphone to take calls, an intuitive touch interface, and a Digital Signal Processor that lets the user tune the equalization and gain. The battery lasts four hours on a full charge, while the charging case provides two additional charges of four hours each. And to make things even more convenient, Bang & Olufsen added a Transparency Mode, which allows the user to listen to the outside world via a simple tap gesture. The earphones sold out at launch, but they’re available now on the brand’s website at a price of $299.
