Created by the Berlin-based frame builder Wheeldan, Basilisk is a commuter bike with belt drive technology instead of chains. The belt drive doesn’t need messy grease and so makes the bike lower maintenance as well as more quiet and durable. Built around a titanium frame, the bicycle has two-toned wheels, straight handlebars, and a front-facing rack. Altogether, the elements subtly evoke images of both a rooster and a snake.
