Become a Local with the Metropolitan Cycling Bags

Many designers these days make products to appeal to the rising market share of urbanites, but few if any put in the effort to understand what makes each individual city a unique place to live and work in. Because of this, a lot of these products fall short of their goal, as they attempt to do less for more people. Combating this trend, the designers at Brooks England have created a new line of bags in tandem with uncovering exciting secrets to living specifically in London, New York and Berlin. Hiring 15 cycling urbanites in these three cities, the company asked them to route biking detours; showcases of the lesser-known gems of their towns, made to help newcomers discover the best of each city for themselves. Working with these routes in mind, the brand then tailored the bags of the Metropolitan line to make these adventures feasible and enjoyable. Each bag features a number of nifty qualities that help make exploring the cities a breeze, including a bright yellow internal lining to bring better visibility when grabbing something from the interior, quick release buckles, a rack mountable design and padded compartments to protect laptops and other important items. Each bag is built from the finest materials; utilizing water resistant fabrics to make sure that your things are always bone dry and featuring adjustable carrying straps to suit any need you may have. These bags are stylish and functional and can help you get over the anxiety of moving to a big new city. When paired with the inspiring detours that helped bring them to fruition, the Metropolitan bags will make sure that within no time you’ll be telling locals the best spots to see the real spirit of their own city.
