Bestie Currywurst by Scott and Scott Architects

In the spirit of summer, what’s better than grabbing a cool beer and tasty wurst? Bestie Currywurst, the new attraction of Vancouver’s Chinatown, offers the favorite food pairing in an environment that sure beats the grubby pub or bar. The space, first self-built by the owners, has been polished by Scott and Scott Architects with a touch of finesse and invitation. The wooden interiors are a clean background that defers to the colored table seating across the open kitchen and service area. A sense of familiarity brightens up space as tableware and white steins are laid out in plain sight as an element of décor. The clean, minimalistic look is all the more reason for visitors to focus on the most important part aspect of the restaurant: the food.
