BMW R100 RS Tracker by Fuel

Introduced in the late 70s, the BMW R100 RS transformed the core construction of the R100 to offer a reliable touring motorcycle with a 2-valve 980cc engine with 56 lbs of torque and 70hp, a shaft drive layout, and a twin carburetor. All of these features made the bike a great partner for long trips on the road, but also opened the door to easy customization. This RS Tracker was built by Fuel Motorcycles, a custom motorcycle workshop based in Barcelona, Spain. The client wanted a racing-oriented design and a simple, light bike. The Kawasaki KH100 fuel tank was sourced from a small 70s bike and it suits the R100 RS beautifully. Changes were made to enhance the performance of the motorcycle, including replacing the front fork with a BMW F650 and installing fast throttle grips, an Öhlins rear suspension, K&N air filters, and a Mikuni carburetor. Various parts were custom designed for this model, from the speedometer holder to the high exhaust pipes and the rear frame. In terms of appearance, the tracker stuns with its slender profile and sporty yet stylish design. The red, black, and white color palette and the original BMW pin from a 1977 rally accentuate the racing look and lend this R100 RS even more charisma. Images courtesy of Fuel Motorcycles.
