Swedish company Bookman specializes in cycling gear and accessories that make bike rides – whether in the city or in secluded natural locations – safer and more convenient. The brand has recently launched the award-winning Volume™ Lights that feature an innovative, patent pending mode of operation inspired by the Hi-Fi world. Unlike standard bike lights that have a button you need to press, these high-performance lights come with a power wheel that allows easy operation even with gloves. The user only needs to slide the wheel to change between the five brightness levels.
“We are thrilled to be launching Volume as it will be a gamechanger for performance lights. We feel usability has previously been neglected in the hunt for lumens, but with volume we have created a unique light that is both safer and a pure joy to use,“, says Victor Kabo, Co-Founder of Bookman.
The Volume™ Lights come in two versions that each offer something different to cyclists. The Volume™ 800 has a lightweight build with a sturdy plastic casing that suits commuting perfectly. Efficient and versatile, this bike light has a brightness of 800 lumens and a battery capacity of 3200 mAh that offers a runtime of 3 and up to 35 hours, depending on the brightness mode. This light also has a lock mode and comes in black, white, or orange. Like its name suggests, the Volume™ 1500 has a more powerful light beam of 1500 lumens. It suits longer rides and comes with a 4000 mAh battery with a runtime of 3-34 hours. It comes with an aluminum chassis and a versatile black finish. Both lights are Garmin compatible, have a water resistance of IPX5, and are easy to charge while riding.
Additionally, the Volume™ Lights have USB-C charging ports and come with replaceable batteries. Plus, the brand has switched to 100% paper-based packaging made from sustainably sourced materials.
