Buttero’s Fall/Winter Sneakers

View all 7 Photos

Since its inception in 1974, the family-owned company Buttero has upheld the traditions of Tuscan shoemaking without losing sight of what it takes to be fashion-forward. Working from the highest quality calfskin leather, this tradition continues into their Fall/Winter 2015 updates on their men’s sneaker line, offering minimal designs to suit the changing seasons. Named after the old-time cowboys of Tuscany, Buttero’s passion is in creating exquisite riding boots, but without missing a beat they have brought this drive into these sneakers that many men would desire in the present day. Coming as either a loafer or mid-boot, the palette of dark greens, browns and black calmly reflect the rustling leaves and earthy tones of autumn without succumbing to its pumpkin-spiced mayhem.

Nathaniel

Amid the unrest of earning his Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from RISD, Nathaniel manages to find the time to read, write, hang out with friends, play drums, and listen to music. Nathaniel has learned a lot about architecture firsthand thanks to opportunities to live and work in Rome and Brooklyn during the past year. Coming from a family with strong roots in the Lower East Side of Manhattan, Nathaniel has always maintained a strong love for NYC especially, and after his studies finish up in Providence he may move there for a while. He hasn't decided yet. You can connect with him via Linkedin or by visiting his Portfolio page.
