Designed by the Raw Architecture Workshop of London, this three-story home can be found in the Scottish highlands. The gabled house has a strong facade with angular lines, dark timber cladding, and a concrete foundation and basement. Altogether, the hard lines and shades of gray define the house as a distinct part of the rugged hillside. Inside the home, the palette lightens up with white walls, pale wood, and a lit staircase. Guests follow the staircase up to the top floor, where the public spaces are concentrated and the sightlines are maximized.
