Casa GG, Bioclimatic House

Home among the hills, Casa GG is located north of Barcelona, nearby the Montseny mountains. The Alventosa Morell Arquitectes building is a money- and energy-conserving Passivhaus especially designed with six boxy volumes. Lined in spruce inside and out, the home makes use of locally sourced and recycled materials. The warmth of the wood balances the coolness of the concrete floors. The large windows and glass corridor further brightens the space, bringing in natural light and connecting the home to the garden.
