Casa Ninè: Puglia’s New Old B&B

Today we revisit Puglia from the flattering angle of Casa Ninè by the skilled architects at Pleroo Design Studio. Built from an elegant nineteenth century building that overlooks the main square of Gioia dele Colle, the charming bed & breakfast maintains the “charm of the memory of Puglia, often archaic” with the “materials of modernity.” Old and new dance in a beautiful harmony among the crisp white walls, inlayed floors, raw wooden cabinetry, minimal overhead lighting, and simple furniture hand-made by the property owners; through Pleroo’s “DESIGN 4 YOU” program, clients are encouraged to work together with designers to transform an existing space to match their style and needs. Casa Ninè’s roots in traditional Mediterranean hospitality find their place in modern day with Pleroo’s dedication to sustainable design, making the quaint B&B both efficient and outright adorable.
