Eggshell Chairs

New from German designer Sebastian Aumer, the Eggo! is a small stool made of 70% of eggshells. Aumer collected the shells from local bakeries and, adding nontoxic ingredients such as casein, starch, and vinegar, baked the mixture into a chair. Each Eggo! contains more than 1,000 shells and uniquely speckled. The boxy design resembles an egg crate and comes in pink and blue. Post-use, the environmentally-friendly furniture can be composted.
