Chiaroscuro Clock by Loll Designs

This wall clock plays with the shadows. The graphic numbers are engraved into the face so that they can be clearly read or almost invisible depending on the time of day and the lighting in the room. A modern-day interpretation of the classical Italian shading technique, the resulting effect is both subtle and distinctive.
Designed by Josh Owen for Loll Designs, the clock is of 100% recycled plastic. The plastic derives from milk jugs, making the design quite lightweight. The versatile clock comes in any one of a variety of bright colors and can be hung in any room of the house.
