New from high end watchmaker Clerc, the Hydroscaph H140 Carbon L.E. Chronograph Watch is the latest addition to the Exploration Machine series. The “carbon” refers to the woven carbon fiber composite case, which is layered with resin and made up of 103 elements in total. The sheer diversity of this material ensures that each of the 140 limited edition pieces has a uniquely shadowed look. Sleek in all-black, the style accessory boasts 51 jewels and bridges, a Côtes de Genève motif, blue screws, and an exposed caseback. The timepiece self-winds with its C608 chronograph movement and includes both a crown-activated rotating bezel and chronograph pushers. The design is also highly legible, in the dark and underwater, thanks to the SuperLuminova finish on all of the markers. Available online and from select retailers in the USA and in Japan, this luxury performance watch is priced at $12,900
