Cones: Unfolded Seats by Jule Waibel

Cones is a series of poufs by Jule Waibel, a German designer now based in London and in Stuttgart. A continuation of Waibel’s interest in pleated fabric, the collection plays upon the idea of unfolding a stone. The rounds are crafted from 100% wool felt and folded so that they point like a cone at the top. The plush seats echo the round form of a boulder and are dyed a variety of earthy colors. Ornamental and comfortable, the designs have a natural, striking presence and contour to the user’s body.
