Cooking Table For a Minimalist Kitchen Experience

Designed by Moritz Putzier, the Cooking Table is a multifunctional table with a bench and storage bowls. The table features a treated wooden tabletop with a gas burner in the middle. Built into either side are wire supports for hanging all sorts of kitchen supplies. A separate piece, the bench provides a small workspace and a place to sit when the meal is ready. The ceramic storage bowls are sealed with wooden lids. The bowls attach to the gas burner, and the the lids double as cutting boards. Altogether, the Cooking Table makes for as bare a kitchen experience as one can find indoors. A 2014 winner of the Interieur Award, the Cooking Table will be on view at the Biennale Interieur in Kortrijk, Belgium in October.
