Based in Riga, Latvia, Brigita Bula arhitekti was founded by architect Brigita Bula in 2013. Before opening her own architecture firm, Brigita Bula worked with the Arhis design and architecture practice as well as different studios in Scotland, the Netherlands, and Portugal. Minimalist design combined with refined details, industrial influences, and bold geometric elements define the architect’s work. The studio also puts a focus on green and sustainable design and building practices. Brigita Bula arhitekti completes a wide range of projects, from residential houses and offices to contemporary art museums and exhibition spaces. The architect has received awards for her work, including two Latvian Architecture Awards for Holiday House Lapinas, completed in 2012, and Salt House, in 2019. The Salt House project has also been nominated for the prestigious Mies van der Rohe Award.
