Charlie Hedin

Born in Sweden, Charlie Hedin was a professional sailor and sail-maker before starting to work at iconic brand Acne Studios in his 20s. He co-founded the cult Swedish sneaker brand Eytys and then lived in LA, Paris, and Amsterdam. After moving to Copenhagen, he founded textile label Tekla in 2017. The brand produces design-led, high-quality bedding, towels, blankets and home leisure wear made with organic cotton, pure wool, cashmere, or mohair. Inspired by architecture, sailing, and the concept of hygge, the Tekla collection also features products created in a collaboration with John Pawson or artist André Saraiva.
