Ini Archibong is an industrial designer, artist and creative director. The son of Nigerian parents, he was born in Pasadena, California. After graduating with a degree in Environmental Design from the ArtCenter College of Design, he moved to Singapore to join Tim Kobe’s studio and then to Lausanne to complete a master’s degree at the École Cantonale d’Art de Lausanne (ECAL). In 2010, he founded his own studio, Design by Ini. Inspired by his diverse background, international travels, and a passion for math, philosophy, architecture, environmental design, and world religions, he creates designs that are inspiring and distinctive. Ini Archibong’s work has received prestigious awards, including ICFF awards and the Elle Deco American Design Award, and has been exhibited at galleries and museums that include the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and the Museo Bagatti Valsecchi in Milan. Ini Archibong currently lives and works in Neuchâtel, Switzerland.
