Jamie McLellan is a product and furniture designer based in New Zealand. Over the past 20 years, he’s worked across a wide range of industries—from outdoor gear to home goods—always with a clear interest in how things are made and used. After several years in San Francisco, where he led the design team at Allbirds, Jamie returned to Aotearoa and now works independently. He continues to advise Allbirds as Principal Creative Advisor, staying involved in projects that explore materials, sustainability, and everyday utility. His design process is practical and hands-on. He’s less interested in trends, more in how an object works, feels, and holds up over time.
