Based in East London, design studio Pearson Lloyd was co-founded by Luke Pearson and Tom Lloyd. The two designers met in 1991 while studying at the Royal College of Art. Since then, they have worked together to design products, services, and spaces for residential, commercial, hospitality, and public settings. The studio has completed projects as varied as furniture design for Allermuir and cabin and seating design for Lufthansa. Other renowned clients include Kvadrat, Virgin, and Takt, among many others. Driven by a desire to understand an ever-changing world, the founders also share an interest in bridging the gap between craftsmanship and the complexities of globalization. This becomes evident in Pearson Lloyd projects that blend classic furniture making and cost-effective manufacturing in products that never sacrifice either quality or refinement.
