French-American designer Sophie Lou Jacobsen established her own studio in 2019. After living in Seattle, Paris, and London, she moved to Brooklyn, New York. Focused on designing glass houseware and lighting, the designer creates products for everyday use, but with a poetic twist. All of her creations bring more joy to the user experience and transform ubiquitous objects into delightful works of art. Working primarily with glass, the designer collaborates with local and international factories who produce her designs by hand in quality, colored borosilicate glass, with limited-edition lighting and one-off pieces made in collaboration with local artists and craftspeople. Sophie Lou Jacobsen currently lives and works in New York City
