Rome-based design firm Studio Pastina was founded by Domenico Santoro and Francesca Puddu. The designers have backgrounds in industrial design and architecture; they spent years working with well-known architecture and design firms before establishing their own studio in 2012. Their firm completes product, furniture, and interior design projects and offers art direction and design consultancy services. In 2013, Studio Pastina launched a collection of compact furniture and home accessories, the Italian Goodies Collection. Featuring a bold and often playful character, the firm’s products and designs bring an eye-catching accent to living spaces. The studio’s work has been featured in some of the world’s leading design publications and has been exhibited at the Venice Biennale, Milan Furniture Fair, and Ambiente. Studio Pastina has received a German Design Award 2020 for the Lazy sofa designed for Calia Italia.
