Based in Trento, Italy, Studio Raro was established in 2004 by Roberta Di Filippo and Roberto Salvischiani. The award-winning architecture firm completes a wide range of projects, from residential to hospitality architecture and visual communication design. Often integrated in natural settings in the Italian countryside, the studio’s work translates vernacular architecture and landscape features into minimalist and contemporary designs. The use of modern elements alongside traditional materials linked to the local site also defines the studio’s projects. Studio Raro’s work has received many awards and mentions, including the New Italian Blood 2013 Architecture Award. The firm has also participated in numerous architecture competitions, winning various public development and redevelopment projects.
