Following on the footsteps of the original Cross Chair created by London-based studio PearsonLloyd for Danish furniture brand Takt, this new version of the elegantly simple chair design adds an industrial twist with a recyclable metal frame. Like the previous model, Cross Chair Tube pays homage to Danish design tradition. It features the same minimalist aesthetic, intuitive assembly method, and cross construction technique that inspired its name. Instead of an all-wood build, this version comes with a high-pressure steel frame that features a durable, powder-coated finish in contrasting black. The slender metal frame gives the design an even lighter look and feel while also making the chair conveniently stackable. The user can easily stack up to six chairs to save storage space.

Made from oak wood, the backrest and seat bring warmth and a natural texture to the design. Apart from Natural, Smoked Oak, and Black finishes, Takt also offers the Cross Chair Tube with a range of upholstery options. Customers can select between aniline leathers and Kvadrat wool fabrics in a range of colors.
