Distinctive and creative, the Crown House is reminiscent of an origami sculpture thanks to its strict geometrical lines that offer a modern interpretation of natural landscapes. This stunning house was created by 3D artist Michal Nowak for a project designed by 81.WAW.PL., a Polish architecture studio based in Warsaw. Sharp angles and clean lines combine with a striking black and white tone contrast to create a spectacular modern structure that complements the rugged mountainous landscape and the still, dark surface of the lake. An almost artistic addition to the natural environment, the house nevertheless provides all the comforts of a modern home.
The large terrace extends towards the water, offering a quiet space for nature contemplation, relaxation or meditation. The living room and bedrooms boast large windows to connect the interior to nature and fill the living spaces with natural light. The picturesque appearance of the Crown House would be significantly enhanced during winter, when the distinct layers of the landscape would gain a special kind of beauty. The light gray sky covered in snow-heavy clouds, dark mountains with white peaks, the bright white house illuminated by a warm glow, and the stillness of the lake reflecting every element perfectly would create a fascinating and memorable view.
