Custom Ducati 999 by Arete Americana

The New-Jersey-based workshop Arete Americana recently finished a custom build of the infamously divisive Ducati 999. Builder Bryan Peterson loved the controversial design and worked for more than a year to update it with trimmed fairings and an overhauled rear subframe.

The finished motorbike features new Ducati Performance F04 Carbon Fiber fairings with BMW M3 marker lights, a 1098s Öhlins rear shock, FGRT210 forks, aluminium Marchesini wheels, Brembo monoblock calipers, a Yoyodyne clutch, Rizoma covers, a Toby steering damper, and a custom carbon tank. Steely and bullet-like, the bike redefines the Ducati 999 with a more restrained and sleek look.
