Sparse, an up-and-coming design company based in San Francisco, is advocating safer streets and a better biking experience with their new spin on cycling lights. The simple and sleek head- and tail- lights have insurance built directly into the design. Machined in a metal attachment, they slide onto the bicycle’s tubing, both 1” and 1-1/8,” and fit snugly under seat and stem for deterring jealous hands and for minimizing the lights’ aesthetic impact on the look of the bike. The lights are highly efficient by use of the LEDS, a 3-watt white for the front and eight smaller ones with a one-watt power output for the rear, and light up the road in style.
