Mark Hix’s London hot spot the Tramshed has brought the natural artistic décor of a restaurant to whole new level. Above the sweet smells of food, bustling waiters and chatting customers rests a sculpture of a bull and chicken. ‘Cock and Bull’ created by artist Damien Hirst is an extension of his Natural History series. The downstairs space of the restaurant also features an art gallery of different exhibitions every six weeks. It’d be pretty interesting to devour a zesty piece of chicken while there’s a sculptured live version right above you. But the bold creativity of having it in such a venue pokes fun and creates a light, artistic vibe throughout the eatery.
