Del Rio Bani is the collaborative practice of Gael del Río and Luca Bani. Since 2017, they’ve worked together to document architecture through images that are clear, attentive, and rooted in lived experience. Both studied architecture before turning to photography, and that background informs not just what they shoot, but how they understand space.
Gael discovered photography during a university exchange in Melbourne, then went on to study at IEFC and Grisart in Barcelona. Luca’s interest began while studying construction and technology in Madrid. Over time, photography moved from side interest to full practice. Together, they approach each project with a sensitivity to structure, rhythm, and material.
