MA Studio (Muqaddas Akkari Studio) is a London-based practice led by architects Selma Akkari and Rawan Muqaddas. The studio works across interiors, furniture, and one-off objects, shaped by a close understanding of construction and detail.
Projects start with materials and how they’re made—lime plaster, stone, metal, textiles—tested with local fabricators and reworked from traditional methods. Plans stay clear; surfaces stay tactile; a few custom pieces set the tone rather than a catalog look. The result is pared yet warm, grounded in craft and everyday use. Longtime friends and former architecture classmates, Akkari and Muqaddas have been recognized by AD100 Middle East and continue to develop work from their Conduit Street studio.
