Dissolving Figurative Sculptures by Unmask

Beijing based artists who go by the name Unmask, Liu Zhan, Kuang Jun and Tan Tianwei met one another at the Central Academy of Fine Arts and has been doing sculptural work together since 2001. These figurative human and equine sculptures are seemingly incomplete made out of stainless steel, they represent a state of dissolution or one can think of it as the complete opposite.  A sense of sensuality is released by the delicate lines and smooth curves created by the absence of materials.
