Walking alone at night in an unknown area isn’t the most comfortable thing to do. Fear crawls up your spine as every shadow and sound sends you into panic mode. The feeling of being abandoned and alone is almost unbearable as you trudge through this not so friendly place. Martin Usborne recaptures this intense emotion through the eyes of man’s best friend in his photographic series called “Dog in Car.” Also a book soon to be published this October through the wonderful funding of Kickstarter, this fantastic series recreates the fear of being abandoned as each photo displays the sometimes angry, sullen and disheartened expressions of the dogs. After being left alone in a car as a young child, Usborne greatly captures this dark mood through his beloved pals.
