Double View Bench by Chloe De La Chaise

Park bench, wooden seat, or rocking chair? Double View Bench designed by Chloe De La Chaise for Outdoorz Gallery merges these three typologies together into one form that offers the best of each option. The intimate arrangement allows the two individuals to face each other, and also indirectly communicate through the mutual rocking upon the shared tread. The union of separate entities is also represented by the naturally sourced wood in the piece, which includes wood from France’s certified forests as well as a sample of moabi, an African wood. And if sitting side-by-side is the preferred option, the seat backs of Double View Bench can easily be toggled from one formation to the other.
