Two Wheels

Ducati Scrambler 400 By Anvil Motociclette

After Ducati launched the Sixty2 model, it was only a matter of time before a bike workshop transformed it into something even more special. Anvil Motociclette didn’t shy away from going big and bold with their version. This Ducati Scrambler 400 pays homage to the 1970 R/T, a bike that was designed for the US market. After extensive work that included remodeling the frame, the custom build looks ready to handle any rough terrain. And look good while doing it.

The team replaced the alloy wheels with 21’’ and 19’’ Motocross rims in the front and back, respectively. The modified tank references designs from the 1970s but fits the modern chassis perfectly, while the handlebars feature curves that remind of racing bikes. At the back, the new swingarm features custom-made long travel shocks. A sleek, stainless steel exhaust system replaces the previous bulky unit. Finally, the white leather seat brings a “70s American stuntman” look and feel to the design, with the number 53 representing the number of days it took Anvil Motociclette to complete the build. Which is as impressive as the bike itself. This gorgeous Ducati Scrambler 400 made its grand entrance at the MBE Show. But if you’re in Parma, Italy between 26-28 May, you can see it at the Wildays event. Photo credits: Anvil Motociclette.
