Do you have your ducks in a row? Finnish designer Petteri Hakkinen has created a series of six furniture pieces that resemble the feathered friend in form. Ducky furniture set features The Duck, an outdoor lounger with the seat and back of the chair in yellow and white, imitating the look of a duck’s head and bill. A similar color scheme is present on the rocker, and playful companions to the include The Ducklings, stools to match, and The Egg, a side table in white. All of the pieces are made from quality birch, and showcase Hakkinen’s craftsmanship and skillfulness in joinery. The idea of animalistic furniture is one that amuses people of all ages, but be careful — don’t let these ducks fly away!
