Emergent Behavior by Thomas Jackson

Much like a dream that leaves us wondering about the strange imagery our minds made up through the night, the photographs by Thomas Jackson in his series Emergent Behavior appeals to our curiosity.Using brightly colored common objects like plastic cups or sticky notes, the artist has suspended them by wires (later photoshopped out) in unsuspecting places. The result creates an interesting performance caught frame by frame, enhanced by lighting and shadows.
