Ethical Architecture Project in Italy

“Update” is a series of ethical architecture workshops hosted by sa.und.sa architetti. Over the course of about a week, professionals and students work together to create projects that consider landscape, history, social connections, longevity, tradition, and renewal. One such project, “update#04 viewpoint,” can be found in Camigliano, Italy, nearby the San Michele Cave. The design is a small wooden rest shelter with an open, gabled roof. The simple structure overlooks the valley, giving visitors a place to sit, enjoy the view, and create memories of hanging out with friends outdoors.
