Deep in the crannies of historic Porto, Portugal a remodel by EZZO preserves the integrity of the exterior while remixing the dimensions of the interior spaces. Sunken kitchen and living spaces, elevated dining and foyer are divided by staircases. Their cuts into the floor plan exercise a freedom for openness, although subtly cave-like. Upstairs a stimulating energy guides you from one room to the next by angled walls and soaring views stretching far into the coastal horizon.
