Floating Skate Ramp

Pro skater Bob Burnquist invented a skating ramp that floats on water. Made in collaboration with a team of designers and craftsmen, including Jerry Blohm and Jeff King, the ramp took three hundred hours of work to complete and weighs in at 7,300 lbs, all held together with 1,250 screws. Sponsored by Visit California’s project Dream365, the ramp can be found gracing Lake Tahoe.
