Frederic Bourret Photography

French photographer Frédéric Bourret released his latest series of photographic art called “Behind Waiting”, expressing the attitude and concept of “waiting” behind people all around the world. Bourret is deeply inspired by the works of Lee Friedlander who primarily worked with black and white film, evolved an influential and often imitated visual language of urban “social landscape”. After spending 5 years in New York City and releasing 3 popular publications, Bourret gives the power of his projects to the viewers; he hopes to present the timelessness between photography and graphics, with subtle but intriguing impressionism to contemporary art. Having taken images from Paris, Tokyo, Valencia and Bucharest, Bourret showcases life in these cities through his radiographic images, not only observing random objects and landscape; he also looks into other attributes that define modern human such as fashion, trendy hair styles and other technological influences such as the iPad and iPod.
