Furniture And Lighting Design By Rhys Cooper

Australian designer Rhys Cooper established his eponymous studio in 2016 with the goal to make creative products that tell a story. A harmonious blend of artistic flair, function and versatility, the studio’s products look at home in a wide range of modern living spaces. The furniture and lighting collections have a sculptural design, but maintain a minimalist aesthetic.

The Carve dining chair takes inspiration from wave formations. It boasts an elegantly curved backrest and armrests as well as a thin frame. Combining three materials, it features an American Ash wood top, an upholstered seat and a powder coated steel frame. Beautifully crafted, the Flute side table comes with turned timber legs which display the organic patterns of solid wood through an exposed section at the top. A more complex design in the collection, the Spoke pendants feature intersecting wires and a gold plated ring on the base, creating a focal point in any décor. The tables boast a black or natural finish, while the pendants come in various shapes and sizes. Photographs© Andre Castellucci.
