London’s Gavin Coyle, a home furnishings studio, creates intriguing silhouettes while keeping the designs streamlined. Details accent traditional chairs and tables—a bright green fabric seat, for example, enhances a wooden chair. While the pieces are angular and sturdy, their components are cut in innovative ways: one chair’s legs are octagonal, and another’s arms are angular. A contemporary but timeless line of furniture results, with the focus unfailingly on creative craftsmanship.
